Brief description of the position:

As Test Designer you are part of the Integration Team. Main Target is to create and maintain Test Cases for all L3 Functions for all Projects and execute Test Run Planning.. Automotive Background incl. Testing or Test Design background. Volkswagen Background is advantageous (Workflow / Process / Strategy)



Key Tasks:

Create Test Cases for all Integration Related Functions. This includes maintenance, tailoring and fix of findings reported to you by stakeholders.
Create Test Runs base on Function Scope of current Release Milestone in close alignment with Release Manager and Test Operations.
Close work relationship with Test Automation to ensure Test Cases fulfill preconditions for Signal Base Test Case creation and commissioning on Test Benches. (GHIL / Advanced Lab Car)
Organization and supervision of test teams (invitation of participants, kick-off, moderation of meetings, discussion of the test tasks); Meeting protocol writing.
Support with Test Result- and Statistic Reports
Implement speed oriented Workflows and Tools for Test- and Steering activities.
Performing individual task-related duties in accordance with the knowledge and experience of the position holder. 
Advising other people holding positions at VCIC, its subsidiaries/associate companies, or cooperating organizations upon request and in consultation with the appropriate people responsible.


Qualification and skills required for the position: 

Education: Bachelor or Master in Engineering / Software Development / Automotive or similar.

Working experience: Experience in Testing or/and Experience in Test Design or/and Experience as Test Manager

Knowledge, skills and others: 

2+ Years experience in Automotive industry.

Fluent in written and spoken English. 

Good communication skills and team spirit.
