Brief description of the position:
The Project management officer acts as interface of VW Anhui for the PMO SEAT/CUPRA for the product and production and JV-Entity readiness clusters to ensure cross entity, cross brand and cross divisional alignment; Manages the “PMO JV Entity” readiness cluster; Designs and implements handover-concept from PMI project organization (e.g. SteerCo., Readiness meetings) to line organizations at HQ, VC
Key Tasks:
1.Implement the Lifecyclemanagement process in alignment with all relevant department in Volkswagen Anhui and process partners (e.g. SEAT). Set up the relevant decision making committees in Lifecyclemanagement. Realize the relevant Lifecycle topics in production
2.Executing short term projects for highly critical, confidential and urgent topics (e.g. PMO JV-Entity readiness work packages); Organization of the elaboration of the long, medium and short term work plans for both brands Volkswagen and VW Anhui, according to the development strategy and the annual business target of the company.
3.Assisting Head of PMO to define the various goals of the Volkswagen and VW Anhui brands (cost, quality, productivity, etc.) according to the company's business plan and competitive needs, organizing goal resolution and monitoring, tracking and controlling the progress of goals, work with cross functional team on potential solutions .
4.Organization of the definition of the cost budget according to the company's cost calculation model (separately for the Volkswagen and VW Anhui brands), monitoring of compliance with the various cost budgets, taking effective measures to continuously reduce production costs.
5.Assist Head of PMO to organize continuous improvement and optimization of the production management system to increase productivity and quality and implementation of flexible production for both brands.
6.Methodical steering of “JV Entity Set-Up” members concerning task, assignments & requests commissioned by the CEO of VW Anhui in order to provide in time results . Assist Head of PMO to monitor and master the start-up of new products and projects in the preparation phase and implementation phase in terms of quality and deadline, instruction, coordination and promotion of the various tasks to the extent responsible for both brands.
7.Assist Head of PMO for the Selection, assessment and development of the staff to the appropriate extent, responsible for internal staff allocation, performance and salary management, organization of internal and external training, increasing professional competence. Creation of the personnel requirement plan.
8.Ensure the compliance with acts, rules, directives, Technique as well as occupational health and safety rules within VW Anhui production.
9.Communication, coordination and negotiation with VGC and Volkswagen AG across all levels of the hierarchy.
Qualification and skills:
1.University degree, engineering background is preferred.
2.Minimum 10 years professional experience in Automotive Project Management (planning, logistic, manufacturing etc.).
3.Strong management & lobbying capabilities, outstanding networking and communication
4.High intercultural competence, good understanding of International markets and cultures.
5.Deep understanding of production related processes.
6.Indepth knowledge and experience in automotive planning, logistic and manufacturing.
7.Sufficient product management experience between R&D and production.
8.Decent range of senior contacts within automotive industry between China and VW AG and related ministries and associations.
9.Experience in Lifecyclemanagement in the automotive sector Fluent in English, German language skill will be a plus.
