Brief description of the position:

Product Owner for the CEA Powertrain/Thermal management department project manager, who is mainly responsible for the CEA Powertrain/thermal management project management. He should responsible for the Powertrain/Thermal management scope function and SW development time plan, budget management, product requests, release management etc. 

 

Key Tasks:

To approve the preparation of the projects that in the earlier phase, including the organization to evaluate the technical feasibility, estimate the cost of the project, and evaluate the completion time of project and important milestones.
According to the development process, make the development plan of components and system, and manage the professional team to push the development work according to the milestone.
Control the progress of development projects, ensure the progress meets the schedule requirements, and control the project risk.
Estimate, declare, track and control project resources and costs, negotiate development costs with JV.
Communicate with internal CEA team and R&D, marketing, finance, purchasing, quality assurance, logistics and other related external departments of WOB, JV to ensure the smooth cooperation.
Represent AP department to report the project status, problem solving status in committee (TG, DB, TMT, Project meeting, technical meeting).
Control the technical change (project request and modify point).
 

 

Qualification and skills:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
3+ year working experience in Powertrain system area.
Proven experience in powertrain/TMS systems engineering,
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
Good communication and project management skills
Familiarity with automotive industry standards and regulations.
Experience with electric or hybrid powertrains/TMS is advantageous.
Fluent English communication skills and German communication skills is preferred.
