Brief description of the position: Monitor and ensure the implementation of specified requirements on function, system and component levels. Involved in developing, evaluating, and finally releasing the rear axle parts. This position holds the responsibility for all matters about the work in development and localization for rear axle parts in VCTC. Key Tasks: Development for rear axle partsaccording to VW process Independent component development /further development in coordination with the WOB department Benchmark the functions and the components Constructive new and further development as well as localization of components for new vehicle projects as well as model maintenance and change scopes from project takeover until EOP Support of the activities for the creation of project-related AWS or job split and SOC agreements Support and cooperation with other business areas on technical issues in the area of rear axle Continuous reduction of vehicle material costs and implementation of low-cost solutions Assessment of the technical competence of the development / service partner Ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and compliance with legal requirements After-sales problem, test problem, production problem solving Leverage partner’s knowhow for future development Provide technical guidance in most urgent needed areas for partner Formulate the development planning for group and formulate the training plan for new colleague Qualification and Skills: Education: University Studies (e.g., Master or Bachelor degree) Professional Experience: • Experience for axle parts development Skills: • Know very well about the development for chassis axle parts and • Keen insight for cost control and Low-cost development • Ability to formulate and execute development plans • Evaluate the test reports, formulate the optimization and compile recommendations for approval of rear axle parts • Know very well about the VW system, processes especially in technical and pre-series development and the release process • Personnel planning and personnel training for group • Structured working methods, ability to work in a team, high dedication, high degree of initiative, above-average communication skills, assertiveness, innovative approach • Much Knowledge about the CAD&CAE softwares like Catia, Abaqus, Adams and so on • PC skills: KVS, AVON, PAB-Online, CATIA, Abaqus, and so on Language: Listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities in German or English
