Department Mission

1.The purpose and objective of VCTC-AF is to develop functions, systems and technology (HW + SW + System) within the domain of ADAS/ ADAP Functions for the Chinese market. This position assures that this technology is competitive, compliant with Chinese laws, standards & regulations.

2.VCTC-AF is responsible for planning and overseeing pre-development and series development activities of Driving/Parking/Guard technology for ADAS/ ADAP for CEA architectures used within the whole Volkswagen Group in China and is responsible for implementation. The objective is the development, integration, application, validation and release of these systems for the cars of the Volkswagen brands in China.

 

Your Responsibilities:

Scope of this position is to be responsible for the development and verification of basic software (BSW) related service functions for ADAS and vehicle E/E systems. The contribution of this position will be essential to deliver a robust BSW integration for vehicle launch in the Chinese market.

1.Responsible for BSW related topics (communication, OTA, diagnostics, power/energy management, cybersecurity, time synchronization, OBD, etc.) in the context of Automated Driving/Parking/Guard systems of CEA for the Volkswagen Group brands in China

2.Responsible for signal request, signal list consolidation, diagnostic table preparation, and related documentation work

3.Responsible for test solution design and environment preparation (test benches, test vehicles, logging tools, etc.) for BSW functionalities

4.Responsible for generating and maintaining requirement-based signal/diagnostic documentation

5.Responsible for defect management, including signal/diagnostic issue tracking, defect uploading, analyzing, alignment with responsible developers, and fix status tracking

6.Responsible for preparation of integration/test reports and deliverables for project milestones

 

Required Qualification:

1.Education: Bachelor/Master degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field

2.Work Experience: 2–4 years experience in automotive E/E development, preferably with focus on BSW (communication, diagnostics, power management, or cybersecurity). Experience in test automation or integration is a plus

3.Special Skills:

a.Knowledge of automotive E/E architecture, communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, FlexRay), diagnostic standards (UDS, OBD)

b.Familiar with Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape) for communication/diagnostic work

c.Basic scripting knowledge (CAPL, Python preferred) for automation and signal processing

d.Familiar with OEM development process, requirement management and documentation workflow

4.Soft Skills:
